Association Annual Meeting will be held Monday, October 27 at New Hope Baptist Church, Pell City. The first session begins at 4 p.m. Supper is at 6 p.m. (Meat will be furnished - please brings side dishes and desserts). Second session begins at 7 p.m. All pastors and elected messengers are urged to attend.

The SCBA newest ministry tool is a Disaster Relief Response Shower Trailer.  DOM, Ben Chandler calls it the "Cadilac of shower trailers" and it is well fitted for the task. The unit, which utilizes gas for hot water instantly and electrical power for lighting, has been deployed twice, most recently in B'ham, AL servicing 300 evacuees from New Orleans due to Hurricane Gustav.
